Recently, the bid opening for the 6 ton vacuum induction furnace project of  Sichuan Great Wall Special Steel Corporation was held at CHMC. Mr. Lu, general manager CHMC attended the meeting and delivered speech. Mr.Chen Guang, manager of Defence Science & Industry Commission, also was present at the meeting by invitation. It was the first bid opening meeting held at CHMC after getting the qualification for international tendering, which proceeded with high efficiency and in good order, displayed our strength and image.

This invitation to bid was proceeded in principle of fair, justified and open, strictly observed the relevant national and the company's regulations, the whole process was very standard, and won appreciation of foreign bidders and evaluation experts. Some bidders expressed that even fail in the competition, the cooperation with CHMC is still pleasant and confident.

In addition to the entrust for the international invitation for bid of this project, Sichuan Great Wall Special Steel Company shall sign agent agreement with CHMC to import 6 ton vacuum induction furnace.

The bid opening of this project demonstrates the metallurgical project department has one more achievement in his pocket, indicating the department has made great progress in 2004.
